We had an incredible stay that was all about relaxing in beautiful grounds and indulging in a delightful dinner. The breakfast options were superb and really filled us up! Would return in a heartbeat.

The room was cozy, but the walls were thin, causing disturbance from snoring.

my stay at stonehouse was lovely. the cozy double room was a perfect retreat for a solo traveler like me. the staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. it's conveniently located, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. their breakfast service was outstanding, with a great selection.

the stonehouse is in a perfect spot for reunions, just off the motorway. the service was outstanding, especially from taylor, who really took care of us. we felt welcomed by all the friendly staff. the classic family room was comfortable and had lovely amenities.

The decor in many areas feels tired, especially the corridors leading to the annex rooms, which sport a worn carpet that has seen better days. Issues like condensation in the double-glazed windows and poorly finished paintwork detract from the experience. The bathroom had maintenance oversights, like taps missing parts and a marked bathroom door. Breakfast service lacked organization, with several hot items running out and slow replenishment. There's a caution about navigating long walks to some rooms, especially if you’re dragging bags. If you’re picky about aesthetics and upkeep, manage your expectations.

It was just a great fit for a brief sojourn in Stonehouse with very good value for money. The evening meal was excellent with lovely friendly staff throughout. Check the room cleanliness, especially the windows, to make your stay perfect.

The grounds are beautiful for relaxing strolls. The staff was attentive, and there’s a nice bar area. the location by the canal made for lovely walks. Perfect for a getaway!

I absolutely adored my stay! The historic manor house had stunning decor, and I was enchanted by the beautiful gardens right outside my window. With delightful afternoon tea featuring freshly baked scones, I felt pampered throughout my stay!
